WebJan 2, 2007 · im in the middle of this strain isolation with orissa india. the mycelium on all of my plates is slow growing and show no rhizo's even after the 2nd transfer. i also germinated SA spores on agar which shows aggressive mycelium that colonised a whole plate in just a few days. the OI mycelium is just weak and hasnt colonised any of my older plates. WebFeb 19, 2024 · I've done several batches of Prof's No-Pour Agar Agar Tek with various recipes and the mycelium all seem to get fuzzy. This recipe is 400ml water, 6g LME, 7g agar powder (right). All the recipes I've used have called for LME. I thought that was ideal, but mine seem to turn out fuzzy.
