Web16 feb. 2024 · My ignition fuse (Fuse #30 - 30A) keeps blowing when I turn the key to start the engine following replacing my alternator and starter motor recently. Have checked for any obvious earthing issues/damaged wires and everything looks fine. Earth from starter motor to chassis is solid. When I turn the key, the dash lights come on as usual. Pull fuse F1 and see if the other fuse still blows. You would have thought the 10 amp would blow before the 30 amp that is blowing. Make sure 102 is a 30 amp, and F1 is 10 amp fuse.
