This prop does well in higher motor height installations with its larger diameter over other propellers for these boat types. Web8 Oct 2012 · The Tempest didn't use trim and the boat ran flatter. Actually had a 25 Tempest as a backup prop, fwiw. I could wind the Trophy out to 6k rpms and hit 74 on gps, so wouldn't think speed will be an issue vs. a Tempest. Never had a problem loading on the trailer either at various angles.

I agree with Propmann that the small vented hub on the Trophy Plus may give you some venting issues on a heavy rig, but in my case it's the smoothest and best handling prop I've tried. The first thing you should try is to set the jackplate at 3" to 3.5" BP and run it. You should see improvement from that alone. If you're still seeing low #s, I'd pull two plugs and run it.
